Bereits Anfang der 50 jahre präsentierte Lambretta einen Königswellen Racer mit 90Grad V2 und Kardanwellenatrieb. So ein Antrieb in einer Guzzi würde heutzutage wahrscheinlich mit Gold Aufgewogen werden.
