Greetings! Thanks for the add. Originally from Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Deutsch ancestry), but currently living in Maine (northeastern-most state). I’ll be writing in English—I know a little Deutsche, but not enough unfortunately.
I’ve owned 4 small blocks—started out with a 2016 V7 II (~60,000 km), briefly owned a Lario, and currently have a V9 Bobber and V7 III, both which I’ve customized. The V7 III is now a dual-sport with NTX650 forks and a set of 21/18 wheels that I built. The V9 was initially given the Monza treatment, but I recently decided to pivot toward a cafe racer build.
I also own a BMW R80/7 mated to a Russian Sputnik sidecar that serves as my bad weather and hauling machine (I sold my car 2 years ago). The 1986 Sputnik was bought 5 years ago in its crate, and I’m still riding on the original, 40 year-old tire— I like showing off the Made in USSR stamp on the tire to older folks who were around and the new kids who have no idea what it means because kids in the U.S. don’t pay attention to history.
Away from motorcycles, I’m an illustrator.
